Gautam is a Principal based in New Delhi, India, from where he supports deal execution and monitoring of portfolio companies.

Prior to joining the Symphony team in 2006, Gautam was the Area Finance Director (South Asia) for Aman Resorts and managed the Finance, Development, Legal and Corporate Affairs portfolios for the group’s expansion in India. Gautam has also worked at Schlumberger Ltd. in various positions for 16 years, and as the CFO of an IT services company in Singapore for three years.

Gautam has a B.Com from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, University of Mumbai, and is a Fellow of the Institute of the Chartered Accountants of India.
